The doctor assesses the patient's facial expressions, skin condition and the depth of any wrinkles. The areas to be treated are planned.
2. Preparation stage
• The skin is cleansed and disinfected
• An anaesthetic cream is applied (the procedure is almost painless)
3. Application
• Using a fine needle, botulinum toxin is injected into selected points in very small doses.
• The session takes only 10–15 minutes.
• During the procedure, you may feel a slight burning or stinging sensation.
4. After the procedure
• The patient can return to work and daily activities immediately
• Redness and mild swelling subside within 10–20 minutes
Who is it not suitable for?
• Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Individuals with neuromuscular diseases (e.g., myasthenia gravis)
• Those prone to allergic reactions
Results
Results are visible within 1 week. The effect lasts for 4-6 months. (depending on the individual's body and muscle strength)
To maintain a permanent and long-lasting result, a repeat treatment is recommended 2-3 times a year.
